Patient Participation Group
The Friends of Abington Park Surgery
The Friends of Abington Park Surgery is a Patient Participation Group which for many years has provided a vital link between our patients and the Practice staff. Over the years, the Friends have been involved in a wide variety of activities ranging from raising funds for additional or better equipment to being on hand in the Surgery to help with clinics. Probably their most important role is to contribute to the running of the Practice through the forum of their meetings. These are held around every six weeks or so in the Surgery.
Registered patients are welcome to join the group and we are always looking for new members to carry out a range of activities. So if you feel you could spare some of your time, and have an interest in improving how your Surgery works, please ring the Surgery on 01604 640396 and ask to speak to Lisa McKenzie, Practice Manager.
