You can make an appointment to see your doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse by telephoning 01604 630396. This line is busiest before 11.00am. If possible, please phone later, especially if you are requesting a routine appointment.
When you call the surgery for an appointment the doctors have instructed the receptionists to ask you for an idea of your problem which helps in determining the most appropriate clinician to assist you.
When you have a problem that needs to be dealt with urgently, your request will be assessed based on what you have told us and you will be offered an appointment which will either be a telephone call from the doctor or a ‘face to face’ appointment with an appropriate clinician at the surgery at the earliest possible time.
For routine issues, you can chose a specific clinician and you will then be offered a choice of the next available appointments with them. This may mean that the appointment is not for a while, depending on their availability. Alternatively you can chose to book an appointment with any clinician which is likely to be sooner. We are currently running a trial where routine appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance.
