Through this website, we hope to improve our services to all our patients and enable you to find the information required at the click of a mouse. You can order repeat prescriptions online, download registration forms, cancel existing appointments, change your name and address and much more.
You can find out information about medical conditions and diseases through our patient information leaflets as well as keep up to date with all the latest practice news and developments. You can also allow the nurses to collect travel information by using the Travel Form.
We are always looking to improve our services so please leave feedback through our contact page, or better still join our Patient Representation Group (click the link on the right for details). We hope that with your help and co-operation we will be able to make this website a better place for all your online needs.
Please note that we do not offer walk-in services. All appointments must be pre-booked either directly at the surgery, using our automated telephone service or online.
Dr Ed Beedham has left the surgery
After 13 years at Abington Park Surgery, Dr Beedham would like to announce that from September 2017 he will no longer be part of the team. Sadly, this is not an early retirement but it's the next best thing… a relocation to the seaside!
He would like to thank everyone at the surgery who has made his time here so memorable and happy, and would like to thank all the patients he has met over the years and wish everyone all the very best for the future.
Another GP will be joining the surgery at the end of September. More news will follow shortly.

Revised Opening Hours and Appointments
We have changed our extended opening hours and are now open on Tuesdays from 7am, the same as Wednesdays. Our late night opening has also changed from Thursdays to Wednesdays, although we will be closed for the whole afternoon/evening on Training (PLT) Days. These appointments are used exclusively for those patients who cannot get to the surgery during normal hours and GPs and nurses are available during these times. We no longer be opening on Saturday mornings.

Since January 2017 we've changed our appointments to help improve our service to you. We
... have improved ‘on the day’ access for urgent problems
... have reduced the wait time for routine appointments
... are using appointments more rationally
and we plan to continue reviewing our system to ensure we are providing safe, timely and convenient care
